Catalina Marketing Corporation Case Study


Established in the UK in 1992, we now have  offices in Reading and Leeds.  50 employees work with leading UK retailers on a wide range of loyalty initiatives and we work with over 130 brands to develop loyalty solutions.


The French subsidiary  has been created in 1994 and is the biggest European market. The office, based in Boulogne Billancourt (South west of Paris) gathers 200 people  and developed partnership with retailers and manufacturers. Since 2012, Catalina also offers web and mobile personalised offers.


The Italian branch was founded in 1999. It’s located in Milan, with a team of 50 employees supporting a growing number of leading CPG Brands and Retailers through personalised and measurable campaigns.


The German subsidiary of Catalina Marketing was founded directly after the abolishment of the German law against direct rebates (2003). From the beginnings with 3 founders we have grown to team of 50 highly motivated people who serve our clients out of the FMCG – Industry and Food retail. In more than 4.000 stores our targeted Catalina campaigns are executed perfectly adapted to the individual consumer needs. Since 2014 we are covering as well the mobile distribution channel for our activities and build our local expertise. Our Office is located in Bad Homburg in the north of Frankfurt / Main.


Funded in 2005, Catalina Benelux is located in the French headquarters in Boulogne Billancourt. Our clients are amongst the major retailers in Belgium and Netherlands. For them, 50 people are developing and running innovative Omni channel solutions to engage their customers.

Catalina Appoints Tom Corley as Global Chief Retail Officer and President of U.S. Retail

Catalina announced the appointment of Tom Corley as Global Chief Retail Officer and President of U.S. Retail. Corley, who has held top leadership positions at Kraft Foods Group and Acosta, brings deep CPG experience, relationships and understanding of the CPG marketplace and the evolving needs of retailers and manufacturers. In his new role, Corley will lead Catalina's U.S. retail business and provide additional leadership to Catalina's retail market teams in Europe and Japan. Corley's extensive background in the retail and CPG industry includes nearly three decades in senior leadership positions at Kraft Foods, including Executive Vice President, President of Sales and Foodservice. Before joining Catalina, Corley served as Chief Operating Officer of Acosta, a full-service provider of sales, marketing and retail solutions to CPG companies and retailers.

Catalina Appoints Gregory Mann to Lead Emerging Brands Group

Catalina announced the appointment of Gregory Mann to head Catalina's emerging brands business. A founding member of the mobile rewards company, Ibotta, Mann is an accomplished entrepreneur and corporate innovator with a long track record of helping retailers and CPG manufacturers address changing consumer needs and new market opportunities. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mann will oversee all aspects of client services and business development for one of Catalina's fast-growing business segments CPG companies with revenues of $1 billion or less. Catalina offers a powerful suite of services to help these companies efficiently grow their businesses through purchase-based, omnichannel analytics and marketing. Mann comes to Catalina after serving as the CMO of Samsung Pay Inc.

Catalina Announces Executive Changes

Catalina announced that Andy Heyman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Heyman previously held the position of senior vice president and president of NCR Financial Services for NCR Corporation. Mr. Heyman joined NCR after it acquired Radiant Systems in 2011, where he served as chief operating officer. While at Radiant Systems, he served in a variety of leadership positions before becoming COO, including president of the Hospitality and Retail divisions; vice president of the Convenience Store Division; and managing director of Radiant Solutions Group. Prior to Radiant, he spent eight years as a senior manager with Accenture. Mr. Heyman replaces interim CEO Greg Delaney, who will resume his responsibilities as a member of Catalina's board of directors.
